Not everyone wants both a pepper and salt grinder and prefer instead the traditional salt shaker. Also, in order to be filled with salt crystals the grinding mechanism needs to be ceramic, not metal, making it more expensive.

These olive wood products are hand made and consequently, each piece is completely unique and will vary slightly to the one represented in these photographs.
